High School Boys -
You must confirm entry by 11-01-2010, by sending an
email to
THEDREAM@MATSPORT.Org
Your invitation is held until that date.
Wrestlers do not have to
confirm their weights until 12-15-2010.
2) Include
in your email your contact information.
3) Tournament
Information:
- Each Wrestler will be allowed 2 coaches
- Teams with over 3 wrestlers will be allowed additional
coaches on a
team by team basis.
- There is NO Entry Fee for participation
4) Coaches
will receive a Tournament Package upon receipt of
confirmation.
5) This
event will be the first time a growth allowance can be
used.
The weights will be
105-114-121-127-132-137-142-147-154-162-173-191-217-287 no one can wrestle on Sunday.
6) You
may forward any information on other athletes you feel
are worthy to compete in this event based on their body
of work up to 12-20-2010, please include a complete list
of seeding information.
Athletes that have not placed in a major event
will not be considered.
7) This
event is only for Elite wrestlers – It is meant to
circumvent wasting matches.
16 man true double elimination with a real
wrestle back format.
Freestyle, 1980
& 1992 - Chris Campbell won two NCAA titles and three
Big Ten crowns for the Hawkeyes in the 1970s. He was a
member of the 1980 Olympic team and won a world
freestyle crown in 1981. Then, after years of
retirement, he made a remarkable comeback and won a
bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics.
